August 13th Meeting: MacRuby, Ruby Hoedown, Engine Yard

Atlanta Ruby user group meeting, August 13th 6:30 at the Centergy Building, in Tech Square: 75 Fifth Street Hodges Room, floor 3. You, reader, are invited.

Topics include:

MacRuby, a likely successor to Ruby Cocoa. Basically, you can make an OS X application using Ruby instead of Objective C, right down to same XCode interface builder.

Ruby Hoedown attendees will be harassed until they either cry or give us the lowdown on something interesting from this recent conference.

Also, a representative from Engine Yard will be on hand to give a brief presentation and explain why their sticker price is substantially higher than most other hosts.
